About the role
A hands-on internship remotely from anywhere in South Korea: see how a B2B destination management company plans, sells and runs trips.
Explera works with travel agents and tour operators who send their clients to Asia. Interns join a real team and work on live bookings, not side projects. You work remotely from anywhere in South Korea for 3 to 6 months, with a named mentor and a weekly check-in.
What you could work on
- Operations: preparing booking files, reconfirming hotels and transfers, updating supplier details
- Sales support: building itineraries and quotes for partner enquiries
- Marketing: destination content, partner newsletters and social media
- Contracting: collecting and loading supplier rates
We shape the rotation around your studies and interests. You need a laptop, a reliable internet connection and a quiet place to take video calls.
What you will do
- Support live bookings with the operations team
- Research hotels, experiences and routings for itineraries
- Prepare quotes, documents and supplier information under supervision
- Help create destination content for partners
- Present a short project to the team at the end of the internship
What you bring
- Current student or recent graduate, ideally in tourism, hospitality, business, marketing or languages
- Good written and spoken English
- Korean is a plus
- Comfortable with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
- Based in South Korea, with a laptop and reliable internet
- Available for at least 20 hours a week for 3 months or more
